Welcome to the HiRel Connectors online store. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of this website. Please read them before creating an account or placing an order.

1. Agreement to These Terms

By accessing this store, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service on behalf of yourself and the company you represent. If you do not agree, do not use this store.

2. Which Terms Apply to What

Two sets of terms operate together, and it is worth being clear about which is which:

  • These Terms of Service govern your use of this website — your account, the catalog, the content, and how you may and may not use them.
  • HiRel's Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the purchase and sale of product — warranty, delivery, acceptance, liability, and every other commercial term.

Where these Terms of Service and the Terms and Conditions of Sale conflict on any matter relating to the sale of product, the Terms and Conditions of Sale control, except as expressly stated in Section 9 (Payment) below.

The surplus product disclaimer in Section 6 applies to all surplus inventory sold through this store and prevails over any general warranty language.

Our Shipping Policy and Return Policy are incorporated into these Terms.

3. Who May Use This Store

This is a business-to-business store. It is intended for companies purchasing components for commercial, industrial, aerospace, and defense applications. It is not intended for consumers, and products sold here are not consumer goods.

To use this store you must be at least 18 years of age, be acting on behalf of a business, and be authorized to enter into binding agreements for that business. You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.

4. Accounts and Approval

Ordering requires an account approved by HiRel. Account approval is at HiRel's discretion, and HiRel may decline, suspend, or terminate any account at any time, including where compliance screening, inaccurate information, or misuse of the store gives us reason to.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at sales@hirelco.net if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization. Do not share credentials or allow access by anyone not authorized by your company.

5. Product Information, Drawings, and Images

We work to keep product data accurate, but specifications, part-number descriptions, dimensions, weights, and availability are provided for reference and may contain errors or omissions.

Product photographs may be representative rather than item-specific — a single family photograph may be used to illustrate multiple part numbers, and placeholder images may appear where photography is not yet available. Do not rely on an image to confirm a configuration.

Envelope drawings, part-number breakdowns, and technical documents published on this site are provided for reference. Where a controlled drawing, military specification, or source control document applies, that document governs. If your application is critical, confirm the part with engineering@hirelco.net before ordering.

Nothing on this site is a representation that a given part is qualified, approved, or suitable for your application. Determining suitability is your responsibility.

6. Surplus, Used, and Non-Authorized Product

A significant portion of the inventory offered through this store is surplus or excess stock. The following disclaimer applies to that product:

HiRel Connectors Inc. (HIRELCO) Disclaimer: Products may be new, unused surplus, or used surplus inventory. HIRELCO is not an authorized surplus dealer or affiliate for the Manufacturer of this product. The product may have older date codes or be an older series than that available direct from the factory or authorized dealers. Because HIRELCO is not an authorized distributor of this product, the Original Manufacturer’s warranty does not apply. All surplus products are sold “AS IS”.

By purchasing surplus product through this store you acknowledge and accept the above. If you require product with current date codes, a specific series, factory traceability, or an Original Manufacturer’s warranty, contact sales@hirelco.net before ordering so we can confirm what is available.

7. Pricing and Availability

Prices are in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. Quantities are limited, particularly for surplus and excess inventory, and items are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

Despite our efforts, a product may occasionally be listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information. HiRel reserves the right to correct any error and to cancel any order placed at an incorrect price, whether or not the order has been confirmed or payment taken. Where an order is cancelled for this reason, we will notify you and refund in full.

8. Placing an Order

Submitting an order through this store is an offer to purchase. It is not a binding contract until HiRel accepts it and releases it for shipment. HiRel may decline or cancel any order in whole or in part, including on grounds of compliance review, account status, availability, or export requirements. See our Shipping Policy for the full order-review process.

At checkout you will be asked to identify the application (military or commercial) and the program name associated with your order. This information is required for compliance review. Providing false or misleading information is a material breach of these Terms and may result in cancellation and account termination.

9. Payment

Orders placed through this store are paid by credit or debit card at the time of checkout. Payment is processed by Shopify Payments; HiRel does not store your full card details.

Online orders are prepaid. The NET 30 payment terms described in Section 6 of the Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to orders placed through HiRel's contract sales process and do not apply to orders placed through this store. If you hold an established account with net terms and wish to order on those terms, contact sales@hirelco.net rather than ordering online.

You are responsible for all applicable taxes. Where a valid resale or exemption certificate applies, provide it to sales@hirelco.net before ordering.

10. Shipping, Returns, and Warranty

Shipping terms, carrier arrangements, and delivery are set out in our Shipping Policy. Warranty, RMA procedure, and returns are set out in our Return Policy, which reflects the twelve-month limited warranty in Section 15 of the Terms and Conditions of Sale.

11. Export Control and Government Contracting

Products and technical data available through this store may be subject to U.S. export control laws, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR, 22 CFR 120–130), the Export Control Reform Act, the Export Administration Regulations (EAR, 15 CFR 730–774), and Foreign Asset Control Regulations.

You agree that you will not export, re-export, re-transfer, or disclose any product or technical data obtained through this store without the authorization required by U.S. law, and that you will not supply product to any restricted party or embargoed destination. You agree to indemnify HiRel for any breach of this section.

Where an order involves Controlled Unclassified Information, you are responsible for identifying and marking it in accordance with NIST SP 800-171, DFARS 252.204-7012, and FAR 52.204-21. Where DFARS or FAR flow-down requirements apply to your purchase, you are responsible for communicating them to HiRel in writing — they cannot be applied by ordering online.

12. Confidential and Proprietary Information

Data, drawings, and documentation furnished by HiRel that is identified as confidential or proprietary must be kept confidential and not disclosed to third parties without HiRel's express written permission, in accordance with Section 9 of the Terms and Conditions of Sale. This obligation continues indefinitely.

13. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use any robot, spider, scraper, or automated means to access, copy, index, or extract catalog data, pricing, or inventory information.
  • Compile, republish, or resell any part of the catalog, pricing, or product database.
  • Access the store to build a competing product, catalog, or price index, or on behalf of a competitor.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or network, or to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the site.
  • Interfere with the operation of the site, introduce malicious code, or place unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any product or software obtained through this store.
  • Use the store for any unlawful purpose, or to place orders you do not intend to pay for or receive.

We may monitor use of the store and may suspend or terminate access for any breach of this section.

14. Intellectual Property and Trademarks

The HiRel name and logo, the design and content of this site, product photography, part-number systems, drawings, and technical documentation are the property of HiRel Connectors, Inc. or its licensors and are protected by U.S. and international law.

You may view and print pages for the internal business purpose of evaluating and purchasing HiRel product. No other use, copying, modification, distribution, or display is permitted without prior written consent.

With respect to third-party names and marks appearing on this site:

HIRELCO is not an authorized distributor, reseller or representative of the products featured on this website. All product names, trademarks, brands and logos used on this site are the property of their respective owners. The depiction, description or sale of products featuring these names, trademarks, brands and logos is for identification purposes only and is not intended to indicate any affiliation with or authorization by any rights holder.

15. Privacy and Cookies

Information you provide through this store is handled in accordance with HiRel's Privacy Policy. This store uses cookies and similar technologies for authentication, cart functionality, security, and analytics. You can manage your preferences through the cookie notice presented on the site or through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may prevent you from signing in or completing an order.

Payment processing is performed by Shopify, and information you submit at checkout is also subject to Shopify's privacy practices.

16. Accessibility

HiRel is committed to making this store usable by everyone, and we work toward conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. If you encounter a barrier to using this site, please contact sales@hirelco.net and we will work with you to provide the information or complete the transaction another way.

17. Site Disclaimer

This website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. HiRel does not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that content on it is complete, current, or accurate. This disclaimer applies to the website. It does not limit the twelve-month limited product warranty given in Section 15 of the Terms and Conditions of Sale, which itself is subject to the surplus disclaimer in Section 6.

18. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HiRel's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to this store or any order placed through it will not exceed the contract price of the order concerned. HiRel is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption, whether or not HiRel has been advised of the possibility.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HiRel Connectors, Inc., its officers, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, liability, or expense arising out of your use of this store, your breach of these Terms, your breach of export control law, or your provision of inaccurate application, program, or account information.

19. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to this store are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration before mutually agreed arbitrators in Los Angeles County, California, which has exclusive jurisdiction, consistent with Section 11 of the Terms and Conditions of Sale.

20. Changes, Suspension, and Termination

HiRel may modify these Terms at any time. The version posted on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order. Continued use of the store after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

HiRel may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of this store, and may suspend or terminate your account, at any time and without notice. Sections 6, 11 through 14, and 17 through 19 survive termination.

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. HiRel's failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
